Lawn care (continues..)
Lawn care basics #3 - trim the edges of the lawn
Next of lawn care is trimming the lawn. A
lawn with overgrown grass at the edges of the lawn can be
an eyesore and reflects poor lawn care management. Make sure
that the lawn mower can reach right up to the edge of the lawn.
Then trim around the edges of the lawn after lawn
mowing with one of the many pieces of equipment available for
this lawn care job. Make sure the lawn mower edge trimmer is
sharp.
Lawn care basics #4 - feed with a nitrogen
rich fertilizer in spring or early summer
Nitrogen rich fertilizer can help with lawn
care process. The constant cropping of the grass foliage is a
serious drain on the nutrient reserves in the soil, so a
routine feed is essential at the early part of the growing
season. It is not good to refrain from feeding because it will
mean more lawn mowing. Starvation results in thin and
sparse grass.
